Lord, the Shit Pot I Stirred Up Picking on Ann!

Ok, people.

I'm sorry I said Ann Coulter has half a brain cell. I'm sure she has more than that.

I admit my ignorance. I admit it all the time. Read more of my blog, you'll see. If you got here via a Blogger search for Ann Coulter, my blog's political insights will disappoint you. I have no insight of any kind. I don't claim to possess any.

I apologize to all the people who did a Blogger search for Ann Coulter and got to my ridiculously boring blog that's full of nothing but glowing examples of what an idiot I am. Some people think I'm funny. Clearly not everyone does. And that's okay.

But please read my ramblings within the context of the rest of my blog. I don't discuss politics here or anywhere else, if I can avoid it. I try to avoid controversy, as my life has enough drama in it already. I have kids. I knit. I clean up wet clothes in my leaky basement. I try to potty train my toddler. I'm a mom who knits, and I just happen to have a blog.

That's it.

Nobody would have cared if I said Nicole Richie needs to eat a fucking sandwich, but I say Ann Coulter needs a new dress and I'm suddenly saddening people with my political narrowmindedness.

Lighten up!

I just thought it was funny that she seems to wear the same dress everywhere. The brain cell remark was more in reference to her fashion sense than anything else. Too bad it wasn't Lindsay Lohan committing the same amusing fashion faux-pas. Would anyone have jumped to defend her intellectual aptitude? Yeah, right.

Seriously, the only reason why anybody's proverbial panties are currently in a wad over my picking on Ann has everything to do with WHY Ann is famous. And I don't care why she's famous, the reason I'm mocking her has absolutely nothing to do with that. It's the ubiquitous black tank dress. Really.

I would have mocked pretty much anyone who, while being interviewed on any television show, was shown a tape of themselves in a previous interview on the same show wearing the same outfit they were wearing in the current interview. I just thought it was funny.

Yeah, what she says probably is more important that what she wears. But not to me.

Click on NEXT BLOG now.

Cuz a political discussion forum, this blog ain't. Unless we're debating The Three-Needle Bindoff vs. The Kitchener Stitch. In which case, I say BRING IT!

Yer goin' dooooooooooooooooown, Kitchener Stitch!

Puh-leeze. Just try to write something funny (I thought it was!), and people get all bent out of shape. Plus, God forbid you should have an opinion! I guess only Ann Coulter's opinions matter... Anyway, keep up the great work!

Yeah well maybe Greg needs to take a moment and read YOUR works and he'd understand that half of the stuff you write in your blog is tongue in cheek and not to be taken too seriously. I am sorry those bastards aren't versed in the art that is PK. We love ya, hon.

But yeah, Ann seriously needs a fricken wardrobe intervention. :)

Eye <3 ewe! :) And I totaly agree Ann needs a new dress and the other posters need to get a funny bone! Signed Moi!

Yeah, I hate that I had to close the comments on that post since I don't like the idea of censorship, but I didn't like the direction in which that whole thing was going.

And it's MY blog.

Now please, can I get back to bitching about my inlaws and my nemesis, The Kitchener Stich?

By all means get back to whatever but first may I suggest that we make Ann Coulter a new dress? One that befits someone as narrowminded and annoying as she is (and before I get attacked I actually am informed, you want to bitch at me go to my blog and do it). I think she may need something off You Knit What? She also needs a sandwich. Or twenty.

Um, okay then! Since all the neo-cons are stuck up Ann Coulter's butt, I'll feel free to say the really offensive things about her. :P She is very smart and very intelligent and terribly evil. She has much more than half a brain cell, but uses it to spout intolerance and hatred AND she needs a sammich AND she needs a new dress. So....there. Back to work for me.

Seriously, your Coulter post got a few snickers out of me.

Don't make apologies for picking on Ann's fashion sense. This is a woman who picks on 9/11 widows. When you do something like that, you're fair game, as far as I'm concerned. Plus, as you said, it's your blog. Those bitching to you about your opinions no doubt don't see the irony in the fact that they're freely voicing their opinions in much the same way you were.

Whoa! I didn't realize I could up my readership by picking on Ann Coulter (that one dress, one brain cell having right wing harpie!). Those comments were ouchy! I love the one telling you that you obviously haven't read her book, ahem, they obviously haven't read your blog! Yer cool and I think you're funny too!

All right, maybe I invite debate with my smug blog name Behold My Brilliance, but right there is the overtly self-effacing Or Lack Thereof.

And anybody who reads this knows I hardly have time to knit, let alone read books.

Hey DO, let's send her The Finished Fug!

Assuming its travels resume...

Did someone mention sandwiches?

Maybe your next post about celebrities should include quick and easy sandwich recipes. So many of them appear not to be able to put peanut butter to bread, poor things.

But seriously, I don't think you should apologize. This is clearly a personal blog, and it's also clearly a hobby of "Greg" to troll personal blogs. You gave him something to do for an hour.

First it is not the same dress just the same color. I noticed the neckline is different. One attemts to plunge down, one is a plunging V the other is high. Call me an MC Pig for noticing that. Also I never understood people like her that have tis fame and have people hinge on every word they say or write. It is like nobody wants to have a brain they want somebody else to do their thinking and take thier money. I am a conservitive and have never understood the fame of her, Sean or Rush. Mega dittos dorks.

I thought Kitchener was a junior hockey town in Canada???

to respond to one of the responders on your other post...

um, you can be really educated and still be a complete frickin' dumbass. i work with a bunch of phDs. trust me on this one.

and yeah, she's taking the little black dress thing too far. maybe she's of the generation that took "black is slimming!" a bit too much to heart?

Kitchener Stitch all the way , baybee! Yeah, that's right! I said KITCHENER STITCH! What're you gonna do about it, huh? HUH?

I am a conservative in most every way, but I don't like AC at all.....nuff about her though.

You and Kitchener, you'll rule the world one day!

Sunshine and lollypops to you!

You know, I had to go figure exactly who she was because I didn't have a clue as to whom she was. But I did enjoy reading your blog about it.

Frankly, I'm convinced it is the same dress that she just turns around for a different look. God knows her shape is the same front to back.

You know who else wears the same outfit - Suze Orman! (Okay, similar ones, or ate least the same necklace so she always looks the same.) You'd think the two of them who obviously have the money could spend it on different looking clothes!

You keep on rocking with your bad self. I think it is hilarious that so many got caught in your web of satire. SO FREAKING FUNNY! Loved the post :)

Inetersting how you talk about a frickin dress and people are all up in arms. Even if it is a different neckline I have a new concept for AC - COLOR! Try it. Don't go crazy, maybe navy blue....

Oh yes!!!!! Send her the FUG! What a great way to say you're sorry for making fun of her fashion sense and here is something to help you along the road to color, glorious color... Bwwaaahahahahaha!

Kitchner... Definitely kitchner (cause I don't know how to do a 3 needle bind off yet).
